AI Native Engineer Intern

AI native means the agent writes most of the code and you own the outcome. As an intern you will design logic and edge cases, drive AI tooling to build them, and ship work that real trading operations depend on: risk detection, payout tooling, dashboards, and workflow automation — with the founder reviewing alongside you.
What you will do
- Ship internal tools, automation scripts, and dashboards with real users: from a plain-language spec to deployed, working software.
- Build with AI coding agents as your primary workflow — Claude Code, Codex, and similar — while learning to own the quality of everything they produce.
- Help turn risk, compliance, and payout rules into detection logic and evidence-backed workflows for prop trading clients.
- Work directly with the founder; get feedback on real client work, not practice exercises.
What we are looking for
- You build with AI agents regularly and treat them as leverage, not autocomplete. Show us anything you have made this way: a project, a script, a hack.
- Solid fundamentals in Python or TypeScript: you can read, question, and debug generated code, and you want to get better at knowing when the model is wrong.
- You are curious, work comfortably with ambiguity, and communicate in plain language.
- No prior professional experience required. Bonus: interest in trading, prop firms, or fintech.
